Located in the southern tip of the region, just 47 kms far, it is nestled in the fertile valley
where the Jarama River flows into the Tagus and benefits from the area’s mild climate exuberant plant cover. Its historic and monumental city core is surrounded by large, luxuriant gardens that enhance the beauty of the buildings.
We’ll visit: Royal Palace, Gardens and The Museum of Royal Feluccas.
The Royal Palace dates essentially from the eighteenth century. Two of the most prominent of its many rooms are the Porcelain Office, built under the orders of King Charles III and Queen Isabel’s Thorne Room.
Aranjuez Gardens that surround the palace, were considered the most beautiful of their time and today still leave visitors speechless, the Parterre Garden, the Island Garden well known for their great variety of vegetables and tree species. Museum of Royal Felucca, with one of most spectacular collection of boats used by royal family to navigate de Tagus river.
